Vancouver Area

Vancouver is a great city.  If you were one of the billions who watched the 2010 Winter Olympics, you know how beautiful Vancouver and the entire west coast is. Few other cities on the planet, Victoria being one of them, can rival the beauty that Vancouver can offer. Where else can you see snow covered mountains and the ocean all without moving your head?  If you can tear your eyes of the surroundings and your body off the golf course, there are a lot of fun things to do in the Vancouver area.

Parks –  Vancouver has an amazing assortment of city parks. Stanley Park is the most famous but certainly not the only one worth seeing.

Capilano Suspension Bridge –  Are you scared of heights?  if so, don’t even visit this web site!

Grouse Mountain – Best known as a ski hill, this mountain is equally spectacular during the summer.

Canada Place –  Named after one of the best countries on earth.  Simply put, you have to go check it out.  We said so!

Gastown –  If you like trendy shops, cool eateries and some night life, Gastown might be your favourite part of Vancouver.

Granville Island –  A little more earthy than Gastown but still a cool spot.  If you need a good reason, they have a brewery there.

Vancouver Aquarium –  You get it.  Lots of water and lots of very cool aquatic creatures.

Robson Street –  If you’re traveling with a spouse who likes to shop, you never heard of this place.

Chinatown –  North America’s second biggest Chinatown behind San Fran.  Vancouver doesn’t have a prison floating in the harbour either.

Those should give you a good start.  If you need more stuff to do, Google will show you the way.
